Wayne W. Green, age 77, of Lansing, Illinois passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 16, 2023. Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Mary (nee Starcevic) Green and loving son Sean Green.

Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at All Souls Parish (St Ann Catholic Church), 3010 Ridge Road, Lansing, Illinois. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM at the church. Friends may visit with the family from 9:00 AM until time of mass. Cremation to follow.

Wayne had many talents, building wood model ships, and ships in the bottle. He also loved his garden and grew beautiful flowers and gave them to all his friends. He spent four years in the Navy and the last year he served his country in Vietnam on the riverboats. Wayne was a wonderful and caring husband, father, son, uncle and friend. He was loved by many and he will be truly missed.
