Vincent P. Gutierrez, age 93 of South Holland, IL, passed away at home on Thursday, February 10, 2022. He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years: Elva (nee Escobar); son: August Gutierrez and daughter: Sonia Gutierrez; two grandchildren: Crystal (Brian) O'Halleran and Aarron G. (Alicia) Gutierrez; and one great great granddaughter: Jasmine Lilia. Mr. Gutierrez was preceded in death by his son Bernard and daughter Lilia.

Friends are invited to visit with Vincent's family on Wednesday, February 16 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. Closing prayers will take place at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Vincent will be laid to rest next to his son and daughter in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Alsip, IL.

Vincent work for 40 years at Carl Budding where he was a supervisor in the meat packing department. He was born in Veracruz, Mexico and became a United States citizen during the Kennedy administration.
