Victoria M. Szymborski (nee Czechanski), age 99 of Palos Heights, IL (formerly of Lansing, IL), passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023. She is survived by her four children: Melanie (Michael) Scott, Daniel (Tammy) Szymborski, Mary (nee Szymborski) Smith, and Roger (Tammie) Szymborski. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Jason (Amy) Scott, Todd Scott, Bob Szymborski, Meghan (nee Smith) (Mike) Marowski, Ashley Szymborski, Kyle Smith, Courtney Szymborski, and Noah Szymborski; and her sister: Ann Marie (nee Czechanski) Bukowski.

Mrs. Szymborski was preceded in death by her beloved husband: Henry Szymborski; brothers: Frank Czechanski and Richard Czechanski; and sisters: Emily (nee Czechanski) Quenzler and Florence (nee Czechanski) Quenzler.

Victoria was laid to rest next to her beloved husband in Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Glenwood, IL on May 20, 2023.

Victoria was born in 1923 in Calumet City Illinois. She married Henry Szymborski in 1947 and they lived and raised their family in Lansing Illinois. She worked at Komo's Food Mart in Lansing for 20 years. She will be remembered fondly for her singing, her vodka martini's and the love she had for her family.
