Thomas Patti Jr, age 66, of Sauk Village, IL passed away peacefully on Saturday January 27, 2024, at Beecher Manor Nursing Center. He is survived by his loving wife Cheryl Patti (nee Thomas) of 45 years, his children Thomas Patti III (Amanda), Christopher Patti (Amy), Jeremy Patti (Kaitlin), Brittany Patti (Karen), Breanna Patti (Nicholas), grandchildren Bianca Patti (Zachary), Emily Patti, Elizabeth Patti, Allison Newman, Anthony Patti, Victor Patti, Christopher Patti, Bella Patti, Jaxon Patti, Henry Patti, and Sophia Patti. Sisters Cheryl Dana (Vince), and Linda Jager (Robert). Loving uncle, great-uncle, and friend to many. Tom is preceded in death by his parents Thomas Patti Sr. and Rose Patti (nee Farruggia), brother Sam Patti, Sister-in-law Mary Patti, and sister Diane Davis (nee Patti).

Friends may visit with family on Thursday February 8, 2024, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd Lansing, IL. Funeral services will begin at 7:00 PM and conclude at 8:00 PM. Cremation to follow. At the request of Tom, casual attire encouraged.

Tom grew up in Harvey, IL. He graduated from Thornton High School in 1975 where he met his wife, Cheryl. They married on 12/23/1978. Tom worked for many years in EVS at St. James Hospital Chicago Heights/Olympia Fields, IL. He retired from St. James in 2012. He loved the Chicago White Sox almost as much as he loved his family. Tom enjoyed fishing, bowling, collecting coins, and sports memorabilia. He also loved having fish tanks, and his dogs. He loved to watch "his" teams Chicago White Sox, Chicago Bears, Chicago Blackhawks, and Notre Dame. He loved spending time with his family and spoiling his grandkids. He had a great laugh and smile and was quick witted.  He also enjoyed "picking" on his daughter in laws. He was loved by many and will be truly missed.
