Thomas Edward Gerstner, age 60, of Lansing, Illinois passed away Saturday, September 28, 2019. Thomas is the beloved husband of Susan Lee (nee Jurecki) Gerstner of 28 years. Loving father of; Jill Gerstner-Helsel, Thomas Gerstner, Jr., Jeremy (Jennifer) Gerstner, Katie Gerstner, Emily Gerstner and William Gerstner. Cherished grandfather of five. Also surviving is brother Ronald (Cynthia) Bohannon, sister Carolyn (Denny) Wagner, brother Bill (Jolene) Bohannon and Larry (Tracey) Bohannon and fond aunt Betty Pavlis. Thomas was preceded in death by his loving parents Terrence and Faye Gerstner.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, Illinois from 3:00 to 8:00 PM, a short prayer service will begin at 7:30 PM. Interment private.

Tommy the brick, Uncle T,my best pal….he had a good life. He hunted, fished, traveled and had a good story to tell. He was always a good man and will never be forgotten….TLS.
