Stephen Woodnorth was born on May 23, 1956, in Evergreen Park, IL and went home to be with his Lord and Savior on December 4, 2022, in Munster, IN. Stephen is survived by his loving wife Kathy (nee Holleman) Woodnorth, and cherished father of Michael Woodnorth and Ashley McMahon, and three brothers, Terry (Lor) Woodnorth, David (Kauri) Woodnorth and Michael Woodnorth. He is also survived by several fond nieces and nephews and friends.

Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Bethel Christian Reformed Church, 3500 Glenwood-Lansing Road, Lansing, Illinois from 10:00 to 11:00 AM with services immediately following in the sanctuary with Pastor Dan Bloesch officiating.

Stephen enjoyed many things in life. He enjoyed taking trips with his family up to Door County in Wisconsin. He enjoyed the outdoors which included golfing, boating, grilling, drag racing and going to the shooting range. Stephen also enjoyed going to concerts a few of his favorite groups were Bob Seger, Beach Boys, and Elton John. He was an avid Chicago Bears and White Sox fan. Stephen loved cars and he owned a bright yellow Mustang which he was most proud of. One of Stephen's hobbies were making craft beer and homemade wine. Steve truly had a loving and caring heart, he never met a stranger. He always made you feel welcome and comfortable. He was a loving and caring husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He was loved by many, and he will be truly missed.
