Stephen Thomas Rusiniak, 74 of Lansing Illinois passed away on November 28th from complications of cancer. Stephen was born on January 13th 1949 to Stanley Rusiniak and Florence Rusiniak (Palmowski) in Chicago Illinois. After Stephen graduated from Chicago vocational high school in 1967, he went on to complete a four-year apprenticeship with the Chicago pipefitters local 597. Stephen has been a union member of this association since May 1968.

During his free time, he enjoyed creating beautiful masterpieces in his wood-shop and helping friends and family with home projects.  A devoted Father and grandfather, who always took the time for his family.  Priceless memories that will forever be cherished by his loved ones.

Proceeded in death by parents, Stanley and Florence Rusiniak; Brothers Greg and Jerry Hirsch.

His life will forever be cherished in the lives of his children , Robert (Kathy), Melissa (Alex), and Michelle (Lonnie); 7 grandchildren, Katelyn, Benjamin, Jacob, Alexa, Ashlee, Cecilia, and Chelsey; Brothers, Stanley and Michael. Also by many loving nieces, nephews and close friends!  Forever be missed! We love you.

Out of respect and honoring Stephen's wishes, no services will be planned.
