Stephanie M. Brzezinski (nee Firanek), age 96 of Lansing, Illinois formerly of Chicago, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at her home with her loving family by her side. Stephanie is survived by her loving children: Barbara (Joe) Sopron, Diane (Roy) Miyashiro, and Ronald Brzezinski. Cherished grandmother of Ann (Austin), Karen (Julian), Gina (Joshua) Sopron, Natalie, Renae (Alex), and Adam Miyashiro and great grandmother of Sebastian. Stephanie was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Raymond Brzezinski, parents and her brothers and sisters.

Friends may visit with the family on Friday, March 8, 2024 at Jesus Shepherd of Souls Parish (Our Lady of Knock Church), 501 163rd Street, Calumet City, Illinois from 9:00 to 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial immediately following. Stephanie will be laid to rest with her husband at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Calumet City, Illinois.

Stephanie was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother aunt and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, cooking, baking and loved watching her Chicago Cubbies. She was a member of Our Lady Of Knock Church for many years where she made many long lasting friendships. Her faith was important to her and she displayed that throughout her life. She was loved by many and she will be truly missed.
