Shirley Broomhead (nee Langham) of Lansing, Illinois passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 2, 2022. She is survived by her loving children; Jim (Linda) Broomhead, Alan (Terry) Broomhead, and Jill Bushor. Cherished grandmother of Mark (Amanda), Adam (Charlene), Christopher ( Samantha), Tim (Stephanie), Collin, Melissa (Derek), Allie (Derrick) and loving great grandmother of 10. Also surviving are many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Shirley was preceded in death by her loving husband Francis, parents and two sisters.

Funeral services and burial for Shirley will be private and will be held at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, Illinois. Friends are welcome to gather at First United Methodist Church's parking located at 18420 Burnham Ave., Lansing, Illinois on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 10:45 AM.  We will be preceding through the parking lot to pay a final tribute to a long time and faithful member. Shirley will be laid to rest at Oak Glen Cemetery, Lansing, Illinois. Shirley was loved by many and she will be truly missed. As Shirley would say: "God Bless You Real Good"

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Shirley's name to First United Methodist Church in Lansing, Illinois.
