Sharon D. Pottorf (nee Matlon) age 76 of Lynwood, IL, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2019. She is survived by her beloved husband: Jerry Pottorf; three children: Rebecca Ann (Francisco) Abeyta, Mary Ann (Robert Sr.) Kain, and Brian Allen (Nicole) Pottorf; numerous grandchildren; sisters: Carol (Jim) Munson and Susan (Steven) Larm; and numerous nieces and nephews. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents: Charles and Ruth Matlon; and son: Gerald R. Pottorf.

Friends are invited to visit with Sharon's family on Sunday, July 21 from 2:00 – 8:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 22 at 10:00 AM directly at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2505 Indiana Ave., Lansing, IL with Pastor John Holyer officiating. Sharon will be laid to rest in Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, IN.

Sharon was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Green Bay Packers fan.
