Sharon M. Giovingo (nee Wilinski), age 79 of Lansing, IL, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. She is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 53 years, James Giovingo. Also surviving are her two sons: James Jr and Marco (Becky); and two grandchildren: Katelyn Smith and Antonio Giovingo. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents: Bruno and Margaret Wilinski, and brother: Bruno Wilinski Jr.

Friends are invited to visit with Sharon's family on Monday, January 22 from 3:00 – 8:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 23 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Sharon will be laid to rest in Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City, IL In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sharon's name to Amvets or Wounded Warrior.

Sharon enjoyed ceramics, was the "Bunco Queen", and she enjoyed camping.
