Ruth Ann Van Milligan (nee Rick), age 96 of Lansing, IL, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2021. She is survived by her three children: Michael (late Marsha) Van Milligan, Karyn (late Michael) Hradsky, and Neil (Janneth) Van Milligan. Also surviving are grandchildren: Mychal (Scott), Shannon (Michael), Michael (Allison), Anthony, Mateo, and grandcat Pooky; great granddaughters: Shaylyn, Jenna, Isabelle, and Chloe; one great great granddaughter to join the family in July; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ruth was preceded in death by her beloved husband: Peter C. Van Milligan and brother: Emil (Betty) Feddeler.

Friends are invited to visit with Ruth's family on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 from 2:00 – 6:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 10 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Ruth will be laid to rest next to her husband in Cedar Park Cemetery in Calumet Park, Illinois.

Ruth enjoyed reading. And she especially enjoyed spending time with her family and visiting with her grandchildren. She was loved by all who know her and will be missed. Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home has been entrusted with Ruth's care and arrangements.
