Ritann M. Green, age 75 of Dora, Alabama, previously of Calumet City, IL, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2026. Rita was known for her kindness, humor and whit. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Rita was preceded in death by her parents: Helen and Leo Green, sister: Marylou (James) Linstrom, brothers: Thomas (Sheila) Green and Robert Green, niece: Patricia Johnson and nephew: James Linstrom.

Rita is survived by her brother: Jess (Roberta) Green, niece: Jessica Green, nephews: Brian (Sarah) Green, Michael Green, Christopher Morrison, Jordan (Karen) Morrison, sister: Kellie (Donald) Rogers, nephews: Raymond Rogers, Jacob Rogers, Kevin (Lisa) Green, nieces: Tammy (Phillip) Arvia, Susan Linstrom, and several great nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to visit with Rita's family on Monday, March 23 from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. The funeral service for Rita will begin at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Rita will be laid to rest in Assumption Cemetery in Glenwood, IL.

Rita worked for the Port of Portland. She was a member of Sigma Alfa Sorority and enjoyed singing in the choir at Our Lady of Knock church in Calumet City, IL.
