Raymonde (nee Polet) Brison of Sauk Village, Illinois passed away May 18, 2021. She is survived by her children: Margaret (Larry) Arnold of Lansing, Illinois; David Brison of Ingleside, Texas; Debbie (Bill) Barnes of Denver, Colorado; Michael Brison of Sauk Village, Illinois and Joanie Brison of Chicago Heights, Illinois. She was the loving grandmother of: Nick (Kim) Brison; Steven (Dotty) Arnold; Jereme (Heather) Barnes; Jennie (Rick) Arnold-Perez; Mia (Robert) Thompson; Tiffany Brison and Max Stone. Loving great-grandmother of Ambur (Ryne) Woods; Kaitlin Bruning; Morgan Brison; Megan Brison; Matthew Brison; Kharl Arnold; Gavin, Finn, and Rhys Thompson; and loving great-great-grandmother of Tessah, Payton, Parker and Logan Woods and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews; sister-in-law and friend, Dean Brison.

Raymonde was preceded in death by her parents: Marcel and Elvere Polet and brother Willy Polet. Sons: Richard John and William Brison and husband Clinton.

A memorial service for Raymonde will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 6:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, Illinois with Pastor Steve Miller, officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 PM until time of service. A private interment will be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, Illinois at a later date.

Raymonde was born in Brussels, Belgium and met and married a handsome American Soldier, Sgt. Clinton C. Brison who was stationed in Brussels. She said good-bye to her husband who could not travel with her to America during war time, her mother, her brother and her friends boarded a ship bound for America where she was met by Clinton's family. She was only seventeen and left everything behind that she held near and dear. Rae was proud to be the beloved World War II bride of Clinton. On January 16, 1990 another proud moment was when she became a naturalized citizen of the United States of America. Rae was loved by all who knew her and will be truly missed.
