Randy Hollis, age 70, of Dyer, IN formerly of Lansing, IL passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022. Randy is survived by his beloved wife Cheryl (McCarthy) Hollis; his stepchildren Shannon (John) Krisko, Matthew (Trisha) McCarthy, Michael (Tracey) McCarthy, and Michael (Connie) Nichols. Also survived by his nephews Keith (Meredith) Hollis, Eric Hollis, Jason (Sarah) Marian, and Eric (Kvetka) Marian. And grandchildren Madeline McCarthy, Marty McCarthy, and Brayden McCarthy. Also, his beloved pet Maggie May. Randy was preceded in death by his loving parents Harry and Delores Hollis, his two brothers Dale and Terry Hollis and his beloved pet Charlie.

Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, Illinois from 11:00 AM until 2:30 PM with a memorial service immediately following, with Deacon Jim Renwick officiating.

Randy was a larger-than-life character and some would say a major "FACTOR" in their lives and all who knew him loved him. He was a loving, caring husband, stepfather, uncle and friend. Randy loved all sports and competing in every aspect. He especially loved playing dice, darts and cards with his great many friends and family. His unique infectious laugh was just one of his greatest assets and the loss of it will dim this world. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him but we are greatly comforted to know he was met at the rainbow bridge by his beloved pet Charlie. Rest In Peace dear one...Until we meet again.
