Phyllis K. Duffield (nee Cooper), age 86 of Lansing, IL, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2026. She is survived by her four children: William (Lisa) Duffield, Colin (Jeannine) Duffield, Gwendolyn Duffield, and Erin (Glenn) Wilhite; grandchildren: Nico and Cyril Duffield; Madeline, Elise, and Sadie Duffield; Grayson Deeney and Zane Wilhite. Also surviving is her brother Kent (Linda) Cooper, nephews Ryan and Philip; and her faithful companion, her cat, Nilla.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 40 years, William Duffield; and cats Tabby, Ebony, and Pierre.

A Mass of Christian Burial is being planned for Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at 10:00 AM at All Souls Catholic Parish, 3010 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations in Phyllis' name to All Souls Parish in Lansing or the Hammond Pet Hospital, 1309 169th St., Hammond, IN 46324.

Phyllis had a Bachelors Degree in music. She was a member of the choir at All Souls Parish; and she was an avid Chicago Sports fan.
