Our beloved Bill went to be with the Lord on August 18. It was a peaceful passage at home. A man of faith, he served God with St. Vincent de Paul for many years, along with Ricki.

Bill and Ricki were introduced on New Year's Eve 1991 by family – add Divine Intervention, and the rest is history. He worked at Ford for 35 years, but cherished gathering with family and friends at home.

Bill was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and Bears. He enjoyed fishing and wood working. He was renown for his potato salad and a connoisseur of peanut butter cookies.

To greet him in Heaven were his parents, Paul and Mary, sister-in-law Cindy Biank, brother-in-law Bob Negri, and a myriad of family and friends.

For those of us left behind with loving memories are: his wife of 30 wonderful years Ricki; siblings: Pat, Charlie (Katrina) and Shirley as well as nieces, nephews and Godchildren, and in-laws: Lynn and Richard Worman, Louis and Kim Fisher, and Bill Worman.

Friends are invited to visit with Bill's family on Wednesday, August 27 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. A memorial mass will be announced at a later date and will be held at St. Vincent de Paul, 7010 W. 159th St., Orland Park, IL 60462.
