Patricia A. Verhoeve (nee Malachinski), age 84 of Calumet City, IL, passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025. She is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 59 years: Warren; two daughters: Susan (Anthony) Fuerte and Jennifer Verhoeve; three grandchildren: Amber Verhoeve, Peyton Glass, and Maegan (James) Burch) Glass; one great granddaughter: Iris Verhoeve; and one sister: Geraldine Andrews. Patricia was predeceased by her parents: Andrew and Genevieve Malachinski; and five siblings: Norbert, Andrew, Richard, Sister Rita Marie, and Mary Ann.

Friends are invited to visit with Patricia's family on Friday, October 10 from 3:00 – 8:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 11 DIRECTLY at Our Lady of Knock Church, 501 163rd St., Calumet city, IL. Patricia will be laid to rest in Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City.

Patricia was an avid bowler with a 228 average. She enjoyed crocheting, ceramics, painting, and sketching. She was a loving wife and mother, and a devoted grandmother, and great grandmother and will be missed by her family and friends.
