Klein
Jan 18, 1966 — May 11, 2026
Lansing
Patricia Mae Klein (Patti), 60, of Lansing, Illinois, passed away peacefully in her home, the evening of 11 May 2026, with her loving husband by her side.
Born 18 January 1966, in Oak Park, Illinois, to William J. Dugal and Jacqueline Dugal. Patti graduated from Oak Park River Forest High School in 1984 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Illinois in 1990.
Patti married her high school sweet heart Timothy Klein in August of 1989. Together they raised two beautiful daughters Kimberly (1991) and Katylin (1994). Patti dedicated her life to raising her children. Her children remember Patti not for grand gestures, but for always being there at every sports event, every dance, every moment that mattered most. Through her example, she taught them strength, resilience, and how to persevere through life's challenges with grace. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and never failed to bring her immense joy and her brightest smiles.
Patti is lovingly survived by her devoted husband of 36 years, Timothy; her children, Kimberly Garavaglia (Jack) , and Katylin; her cherished grandchildren, Avery, Bennett and Carter, who is expected at the end of May. She was preceded in death by her beloved older brothers, Billy and Robert. Patti is also survived by her siblings, Jack, James, Mary Ellen, and Kathy, as well as her in-laws, Kathy, Robert, and Margo.
Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Patti on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home.
