Patricia Mae Beilfuss "Grammy/Pat" age 100 of Schererville, Indiana formerly of Lansing, Illinois passed away Tuesday February 25, 2025 peacefully in her sleep at home. Pat is survived by her two loving sons; James Beilfuss (Pauline Miriani) and Gregory Beilfuss. Cherished Grandmother of 3, great grandmother of 5 and great great great grandmother of 2. Pat was Preceded in death by her loving husband James "Fritz" Beilfuss, great grandson Isaac Beilfuss (Scott Beilfuss), Daughter in law Linda Beilfuss (Greg Beilfuss), son John "Jack" Beilfuss.
Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, Illinois from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral services for Pat will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Deacon Jim Renwick officiating. The committal service will be conducted in the chapel at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Schererville, Indiana.
Patricia graduated from Thornton Fractional North High School in 1942. She also attended 3 years nursing training at St Margaret Hospital in Hammond In. She also served in the Army Corps of Nurses for 6 months Fort Harrison Indiana. She Worked on OB floor at St Margaret Hospital where she met her husband Fritz employed as an ambulance driver. She worked at Hammond Clinic as attending nurse for Dr. Jerry Synder. She worked as school nurse at TF South until her retirement at age 65. She was one of the founding board of directors for Camp Quality of Illinois and worked there until the age of 90. Grammy has been living with her son Greg Beilfuss for the past 2 years. January 22nd Grammy celebrated her 100th birthday.
