Norma Smith (nee Espinoza), age 75 of Lansing IL, passed away on Friday, September 15, 2023. She is survived by her daughters: Heather Marie and Lesley Ann Smith. Norma was preceded in death by her husband: Michael John Smith, brother: Raul Espinoza Jr., and parents: Ralph and Brigida (nee Morales) Espinoza.

A celebration of Norma's life will be held at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, Illinois.on Thursday, October 26, 2023.Friends may visit with the family from 3:00 to 7:00 PM with a service immedialty following at 7:00 PM with Deacon Jim Renwick officiating.

Norma was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed lively conversation, reading mysteries and novels, and listening to music. She was also a devoted animal lover who owned many cats and dogs during her life. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the charity of your choice. Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements and care of Norma.
