Nancy M. "Cha Cha" Chiaro (nee Stella), age 80 of Lansing, IL, passed away at her home on Friday, October 9, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Richard; son, Brian Chiaro and daughter, Kristi Chiaro. Also surviving is her sister-in-law, Donna Stella, Al (Debbie) Chiaro, Frank ( Linda) Chiaro, plus numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. And her two beloved dogs, Chewie and Star. 

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents: Felix and Estelle Stella; sister Eleanor, brothers Bob Stella and Armand (late Gayle) Stella, and brother-in-law, Jim Chiaro, and dear cousins, Mario and Pat Stella, Loretta Jarosky and Norma Cempel. 

Nancy was a devoted Chicago Cubs fan. She was an Underwriter for life insurance; she loved music, especially the Bee Gees, and dancing.

Per Nancy’s wishes, there will be no wake or service.
