Nadine M. Jacobs (nee Alberson), age 76 of Lansing, IL, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021. She is survived by her two daughters: Denise (Richard) Barlage and Darlene (Adrian) Perez; grandchildren: Nicole Jacobs, Samantha Wilson and Kimberly Hall, Brittney Barlage and Brody Barlage, Amanda Montalbano, Christian Perez, and Kate Perez; and great grandchildren: Nolan and Keaton Wilson. Also surviving is her sister: Sharon Scudder; brothers: Kurt (Linda) Alberson and Mark (Bonnie) Alberson; and her devoted life partner of 27 years: Don Terek. Nadine was preceded in death by her daughter: Dawn Hall and parents: Kurt and Victoria Alberson.

Friends are invited to visit with Nadine's family on Tuesday, October 5 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. The Celebration of Life for Nadine will begin at 5:30 PM in the funeral home chapel.

Nadine loved to be outside, she was often seen sitting in front of her house enjoying the evening air. One of her favorite pastimes was taking long peaceful drives with Don. She would often say, we go wherever the wind takes us. Nadine's greatest love was for her family. One of her favorite things to do was to take the grandkids on walks. All the kids knew the way by heart to the "lion house". Even though life was not always kind, she would do anything for anyone. Nadine's gentle and caring ways will truly be missed.
