Martin John Noort, age 67 of Rancho Cordova, CA, formerly of Roseland and Lansing, IL, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. He is the beloved husband of Janice (nee Candilas), loving father of Jonathan Noort of Portage, IN and Adam (Leann) Noort of Sacramento, CA. Marty was preceded in death by his parents: Albert and Betty (nee Tamminga) Noort.

Marty is the dear brother and brother-in-law to siblings: Elaine (Ken) Metzger, Ellen (late Len) Jabaay, Carol (Sid) Jabaay, Jo-Ann Noort, Al Noort, Jim Noort, and Tim Noort; and cherished uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.

Marty grew up in the Chicago region and relocated to California in the early 2000. He was a true blue Chicago Bears fan and loved the outdoors.

A Celebration of Marty's Life will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2025 from 12:00 noon to 3:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL.

Marty was loved by many and will be missed.
