Marion E. Petro, age 92 of Olympia Fields IL, formerly of Lansing, IL passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 27, 2020.  She was born June 28, 1927 in Chicago. She is survived by a loving daughter, Barbara (York) Gruetzmacher;  three sons: Robert (Daun),  John (Beverly) and Richard (Sydney) Petro; cherished grandmother of seven and four great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband George; her parents Julius and Elizabeth Gagyi; sister Nancy Mazurczak; and brother Jack Gagyi.

Due to the COVID-19 virus pandemic, funeral services and burial for Marion will be private. Marion will be laid to rest at Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood, Illinois. A celebration of life for Marion will take place at a later date.

Marion was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was loved by many and she will be tuly missed.
