Marilyn A. Meyer (nee Bunting), age 88 of Crown Point, IN, formerly of Lansing, IL, passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021. She is survived by her son, Gerard J. (Janet) Meyer and daughter Mary E. (Teddy) Frey. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Elaine M. (Aaron) Frey, Nicole J. Orozco, Rebecca D. Pape, Logan P. (Clarissa) Frey, Johnathan A. Meyer, Jacob H. Pape, and Jeffery D. Meyer; great grandchildren: Brandon L. Long, Aurora M. Orozco, Everly A. Orozco. Carter M. Frey, Xavier Rodriguez, Deacon T. Frey, and Quila Pape, and Liam Frey; and sister-in-law: Janiece Bunting. Marilyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband of almost 68 years: Robert; and siblings: Katherine, Dorothy, John, Joseph, and Bob.

Friends may visit with Marilyn's family on Friday, December 10, 2021 from 3:00 – 7:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 11 beginning with closing Prayers at 9:30 AM at the funeral home and proceeding to St. Ann Catholic Church, 3010 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL for a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Marilyn will be laid to rest next to her husband in Assumption Cemetery in Glenwood, IL.

Marilyn was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church. She had worked as a waitress in many restaurants, including the Donut Shop in Homewood, IL. She enjoyed painting and gardening. She was a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and she will be truly missed by all who knew her.
