Marilyn K. Blocker, age 79 of Glenwood, IL, formerly of Roseland, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024. She is survived by Ronald Blocker, her loving husband of 60 years on March 7. Also surviving are her sons: Jeff Blocker, Kevin (Monica) Blocker, granddaughters: Amanda and Courtney; great grandson: Brian; and her beloved dog – Trixie.

Friends are invited to visit with Marilyn's family on Thursday, February 15 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. The funeral service will begin at 7:30 PM in the funeral home chapel.

Marilyn had a Master's Degree in Accounting and worked for the government. She enjoyed snow-skiing, sewing, traveling, and baking. Her favorite flower was the daisy and she loved making everyone happy.
