Margaret Rapp, Age 94 of Lansing, IL passed away June 12, 2022 at the Riley Memorial Residence with her four children present. Marge was a long time South Side resident from her birth in Hyde Park, to South Shore to Dolton, Lynwood and Lansing. Marge was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years – William W Rapp. She was the loving mother to her four children Cathy (Tom) Knetl, Marge (the late Bob) Rucinski, Cliff (Valerie), and Bill (Kathie). She was the loving grandmother of 9 and loving great grandmother of 18. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Marge was a long-time employee of High Low Foods. She was very active in the Our Lady of Knock Parish. She was a winter Texan for 20 years spending the coldest time of the year in Harlingen, TX where she was a community volunteer. She was devoted to her family. She loved camping and spent many summers with family members around a campfire.

Friends may visit with family members on Wednesday, June 15 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing IL. A Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, June 16, 2022, DIRECTLY at Our Lady of Knock Church, 501 163 rd St, Calumet City, IL.
