Margaret Motluck (nee Lally) age 69 of Lansing, IL passed away peacefully on Friday, March 27th. She is survived by her husband, William Motluck, her daughter Theresa (Daniel) Hayden, step-daughters Kristin (Dave) Korn and Julie Motluck, and grandchildren Johnny Hayden, Adam Hayden, Zachary Spatz, Gabriel Spatz, Finley Korn, and Nolan Korn, her sisters Mary (Dick) Schultz, Cathy (Mark) Wuchter, Eileen (Carl) Wuchter, sister-in-law Maureen Lally, brother Jack Lally and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Margaret was preceded in death by her daughter, Maureen Spatz, her brother, Michael Lally, and her parents John and Bridget Lally. Friends are invited to visit with Margaret's family on Tuesday, March 31 from 3:00 – 8:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 1 beginning with closing prayers at the funeral home and proceeding to Jesus Shepherd of Souls Catholic Parish (formerly Our Lady on Knock), 501 164th St., Calumet City, IL for a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial.

Margaret was born in Evergreen Park, IL and later moved to Calumet City, IL then Lansing, IL. She was happiest spending time with her grandchildren and attending their sporting and school events. She created many happy memories traveling with her husband, family and friends. She was known for her sense of humor and enjoyed hosting summer pool parties. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten by all who knew her.
