Margaret M. Lancaster, age 56 of Lansing, IL, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021. She is survived by her beloved husband: Michael; son: Chris (Whitney) Lancaster; and three sisters: Shirley Shy, Patricia (Thomas) Barnett, and Debra Savel. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents: Matthew and Florence Sobczak; and brother: Jerome "Jerry" Sobczak.

Margaret was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Munster, IN. She enjoyed shopping, crafting, cooking, and most of all spending time with her family. She was known for her strength, courage, and honesty. She never took life for granted and saw the best in everyone and everything. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, best friend, and grandma to be. She touched many people throughout her lifetime and had a heart of gold. She will be deeply missed.

A memorial Mass is to be held for Margaret on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 8501 Calumet Ave., Munster, IN.
