Lynda Gonsior (nee Heitz), age 77 of Lansing, IL formerly of Hawthorne, CA passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022 with her children at her side. Lynda is survived by her daughters: Kimberly (Walter) Ryan, Kathy Myers and John Mauer (fiancé) and son: Kenneth (Carolyne) Myers. Lynda is also survived by her grandchildren: Kailey Ryan, Connor Ryan, Nicholas (Elizabeth) Kluth, Jacob Kluth, Tyler Kluth, Zack (Jessica) Myers, Ryan Myers and Liam Myers. Great Grandchildren: Brayden Ryan, Evan Kluth and Jackson Kluth. Lynda was also survived by her Nieces: Karen Myers, Deb Gomez and Nephews: Ray (Katie) Myers, John Myers and Dusty Chambers (fiancé) and Jeff Heitz. Lynda was preceded in death by her loving parents Edward and Mary Heitz, cherished brother Emery Heitz and her beloved husband Eugene Gonsior.

Friend are invited to visit with the family on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, Illinois from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, February 14, 2022 at 10:00 am. Lynda will be laid to rest at Oakland Memory Lanes, Dolton, Illinois.

Lynda was a wonderful and caring Mom, Nana, Grandma, GiGi, Great-Grandma, Aunt and Friend. She enjoyed working as a branch manager for many years for the First Savings Bank of Hegewisch and then Walt's Food in the accounting department. She retired many years ago and enjoyed spending time with her family, taking vacations, going to church and playing cards with her friends. She lived each day to the fullest and will truly be missed by her family and friends. In lieu of flowers donation may be made in Lynda's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital at www.stjude.org
