Lucila Rodriguez, age 96 of Calumet Park, Illinois passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 20, 2020. She is survived by her loving children; Angel (Linda) Rodriguez and Robert Rodriguez. Loving grandmother of five and great grandmother of many. Also surviving is sister Gloria (Sergio) Rodriguez, many loving nieces and nephews and cherished and close friend Iris Marcano and family. Lucila was preceded in death by he beloved husband Angel Rodriguez, parents Justo and Francisca (nee Morales) Rodriguez and one brother.

Due to the COVID-19 virus situation Lucila's funeral service and burial will be private. Lucila will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Calumet City, Illinois.

Lucila was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed cooking and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a devoted and faithful woman of God. She was loved by many and she will be truly missed. Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home has been entrusted with Lucila's care.
