Lori Hickey (nee Kreiman) died November 28 at her home in Lansing, Illinois, soon after receiving a diagnosis of metastasized lung cancer. She had turned 61 the day before her death. Lori was the youngest child of the late Dr. Norman and late Mrs. Diane Kreiman. She lived in the south suburbs her entire life.

Lori is survived by her husband Keith of 16 years and sister Darlene Paulauski (Dennis), niece Tracy Doell, nephews Denny (Crystal), Mike Paulauski, and Brennan Kreiman (Sara Katherine), beloved cousins Lynn Sperling (Skip), Chuck Kreiman (Ellen), Jeffrey Pure, Elliott Pure, Debra Talsky (Marvin), Lisa Gendel (Peter Panayiotou, an awesome photographer), Tom Marcheschi, Lisa Hotwagner and David Kreiman (Katie). Lori was preceded in death by her sister Sandy Kreiman and brother Mike Kreiman, and many other beloved family members. May their memories be a blessing.

Lori will be remembered for her amazing outlook on life despite the many health challenges and obstacles she faced for several years. Her laugh was as hearty as it comes; she loved her family fiercely; and the gratitude she had for the little things in life was amazing despite the adversities she faced. Lori was one of a kind. One of the dreams Lori once had was to write lyrics for rock songs. While she did not realize that particular aspiration, another one came to fruition when she opened a successful limousine business – Allegro Limousine. She had many loyal clients who found "Limo Lori" was someone to count on.

Lori believed that upon her death she would be reunited with her parents and brother and sister in heaven. May her wish come true and may she be greeted with lots of love and loving arms to hold her in peace in her final resting place. Cremation has taken place.
