Lois J. Osborne (nee Rodak), age 88 of Lansing, IL passed away peacefully with her son James by her side. Lois was born to Walter and Genevieve (nee Wisniewski) Rodak on January 26, 1937. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Walter Rodak Jr, and son Robert.

In addition to her son, James, Lois is survived by her nephew David Rodak, niece Dawn Rodak, and niece Lori (David) Sisk. Also grandnephew Bradley Sisk and grandniece Samantha Sisk.

Lois was a retired office manager for Kvanger Songer Construction and co-owner of the Lansing Quick Wash Laundromat. She was an avid gardner and crafts maker including flower arrangement and sewing.

Lois had many friends including lifelong friends Arlene Van Duyse, Sally Schultz, Ginny and Jim Burd, and dear friend Stella Osborne. She enjoyed receiving pictures of all the children and talking about what was going on in their lives.

Friends are invited to meet with Lois's family on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. She will be laid to rest in Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City, IL.

Lois will be greatly missed by family and friends.
