Linda Kay Hart, age 63 of Mattson, Illinois passed away peacefully Friday, January 27, 2023. Linda is survived by her sister Cathy Hart-Tysen, brother-in-law Dan (Connie) UpDegraff, loving aunt of Brian UpDegraff and Heidi (Julio) Ruiz, three great nephews and one great niece and many loving cousins and friends. Also surviving are long time friends Bob Mate, Gina Perry, Amy Veldkamp and Cindy Shannon-Kington. Linda was preceded in death by her loving parents Harvey "Dean"and Phyllis "Kay" Hart, fond sister Cindy UpDegraff, and brother-in-law Richard Tysen.

Linda was a 1977 Thornton Fractional South High School graduate, she worked at Little Brown Jug in Burnham, Illinois for many years. Linda was born in Chicago Heights, Illinois and was raised in Lansing, Ill. Linda loved the outdoors, traveling and lightening to music. She was loved by many and she will be truly missed. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family. Donations may be sent to Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, Illinois 60438. Services for Linda will be held on March 12, 2023 at The Sauk Village Bible Church, 2165 223rd Street, Sauk Village Illinois 60411 at 1:00 PM. There will be a short visitation at the church from 12 noon until time of service.
