Lillian Winifred (Winnie) Luther, age 94, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2026. Born March10, 1932, she was the fifth of ten children, born to Edgar and Ethel (Glanz) Myers of Quinton, AL.

A devoted homemaker, Winnie loved reading, crafting, sewing, and spending time with her family. She was an avid reader, often finishing a book in a single day. Winnie was a cherished member of the First United Methodist Church in Lansing, IL.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen (Mike) Beland of Valparaiso; her three grandchildren, Michael Beland (Kaitlyn), Caitlin Miley (Jeff) and Maggie Zak (Eric); and five great-grandchildren, Colleen Beland, Killian Beland, Jamison Zak, Evie Zak, and Peyton Zack. 

She was preceded in death by eight brothers, her husband Ted, and her daughter Ethel.
