Kimberly Kornas, age 62 of Lansing, IL, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026. Born on December 16, 1963, Kimberly was the beloved daughter of the late Barbara Kornas and Larry Kornas. Kimberly was a special needs individual whose life was a powerful reminder of kindness, resilience, and unconditional love. She had a unique ability to touch hearts, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her or being part of her life was better for it.

Kimberly was a valued resident and client of LARC, where she was cared for and supported as part of a community that meant so much to her.

She will be deeply missed by her loving family, including her father, Larry Kornas, brother, Randal Kornas and his wife, Tamara Kornas. She was a cherished aunt to her nephews Justin Kornas, Ethan Kornas, Mathew Gregory, and Jacob Gregory, and niece Meghan Gregory.

Kimberly's life was filled with meaning, connection, and a quiet strength that left a lasting impact on those around her. Her gentle spirit and the joy she brought to others will never be forgotten.

Kimberly was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Kornas, grandparents, Josephine and Ada Slubowski, and Balbina and Vance Kornas.
