Keny Carlos Osorio, age 64, formerly of Lansing, IL, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025. He is survived by his wife: Kimmy (nee Mazrimas); children: Kyle of Highland, IN, Kennedy and Kristian of Hammond, IN; sister Dalia (Jonathan) Hunt of Pendleton, IN and brother Eric (Amy) Osorio of Valparaiso; nephews and niece: Ethan, Lucas, Lyla, Anthony, Alexander and Aidan; sister-in-law: Christy (Gregory) Mazrimas-Ott of Lansing, IL. He leaves behind many other relatives, cousins, and close friends. Kenny was preceded in death by his parents: Rene "Keny" Osorio and Dalia Levet Osorio.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 2:00 – 8:00 PM, with a funeral service for those attending at 7:00 PM on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL.

Keny graduated from Gavit High School in 1980. He worked in the paint department of the Chicago Ford Plant for over 30 years and was a member of the UAW Local 551. He was an avid soccer fan, which included coaching his sons' soccer teams and refereeing numerous games over the years. He loved going to family gatherings and had a passion for all animals, especially amphibians and reptiles.
