He will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife in Oak Glen Cemetery in Lansing. Friends are invited to visit with Ken’s family on Monday August 31 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ken’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
After his stint in the Army, Ken spent the next 31 years at AT&T and its subsidiaries as an installer, from which he retired in 1983. Ever the conversationalist, he reveled in holding lively get-togethers in the kitchen where family and friends would congregate. The door to their Lansing home was always open (especially the garage door). He enjoyed fishing and taking care of all the flowers in his yard. But his main joy in life was spending days with the love of his life, Dawn Marie.
We would like to thank the loving staff at Crown Point Health Campus and Ignite Medical for the loving support and care they gave Ken during his stays at their assisted living facilities.
