Kenneth A. Duey Sr., age 90 of Crown Point, IN, formerly of Lansing, IL, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024. He is survived by his children, Kenneth Duey Jr. (Alison Sellers) and John (Tracy) Duey; grandchildren Erin (Tony) Johnson, J. Samuel (Balee) Duey, Eric (Elizabeth) Duey, and Evan (Jessalyn) Duey; great grandchildren Hatter Duey, Clay Johnson, Josiah Duey and Galen Duey. Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife Dolores, parents Clarence and Lorretta Duey, sister Joyce (Jack) Stanepher, brothers Jerry and Butch Duey and son Daniel Duey.

Friends may visit with the Duey family on Saturday, October 12, 2024 starting at 9:00 AM with a funeral service at 11 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2505 Indiana Ave., Lansing, IL., with Rev. Ryan Reese officiating. Kenneth's burial will be at Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery, Oak Lawn, IL.

Kenneth dearly loved Dolores and they were married for 62 years. He loved Jesus, and cared lovingly for his family. Kenneth and Dolores spent their entire career in the grocery industry, including Jewel Foods, Wilder's Land O'Foods/Main St. Market and Bakery in Lansing, and then at many Walt's Food Locations. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Lansing, Illinois.
