Julio Cesar Rodriguez, age 24, of Lansing, Illinois passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020. Julio is survived by his loving parents Jaime and Odilia (nee Soto) Rodriguez. Cherished brother of Angela Rodriguez, Juana "Iris" Rodriguez, and Jaime Rodriguez, Jr. Loving uncle of Valerie Hernandez and best friends and cousins Edward Rodriguez, and Elder Rodriguez and many other cousins, family members and friends. Also surviving is Julio's best friends Ulises, Steven, Jacob and his best companion, his loving dog Zues.

A Celebration of Life for Julio will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, Illinois with Deacon Jim Renwick officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, December 11, 2020 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic virus, we are asking to please wear a mask while visiting inside the building and respect the 6 feet social distancing protocol.

Julio loved his dog Zues, they were a dynamic duo and were always together. Julio enjoyed spending time with family and friends, he was proud working towards achieving his CDL license and becoming a truck driver. He enjoyed playing video games with his friends and he was always fun to be around. He was always there if anyone needed help or a helping hand, you could count on Julio to be there. Julio was loved by many and he will be deeply missed.
