Judith A. Brown (nee Taylor), age 82 of Lansing, IL, and the beloved wife for 61 years of Dennis Brown, passed away at her home on Friday, July 11, 2025. In addition to her husband, Judith is survived by her brother: Jon (Sarah) Taylor, daughter-in-law: Diane Brown; grandchildren: Matthew Brown, Alison Brown, and Noah Brown; sister-in-law: Bunny Sebock; and many nieces and nephews. Judith was preceded in death by her sons: David, Matthew, and Russ; grandson: Ryan Brown; and her brother and his wife: Kent (Margaret) Taylor.

Friends are invited to visit with Judith's family on Wednesday, July 16 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel beginning at 4:00 PM.

Judy had been the secretary at Coolidge School in Lansing for many years. She enjoyed tennis, swimming, and the beach – especially the sand dunes. But more than anything else, Judy loved her family and many friends, and she will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, please say an extra prayer in her memory.
