Joyce J. Schneider of Crete Illinois formerly of Park Forest, Illinois daughter of Peter and Edith Smith (nee Vanderbilt). Joyce was the loving and devoted wife to Roger Schneider. Loving mother to Keith Regnier (Susan), Kristine Poore (Roger) and stepmother to Roger Schneider (Laura), Dawn Sallay (Todd) and Deanna Soucie (Robert). Loving Grandmother to Ryan Regnier, Kara Regnier, Kaitlyn Regnier, Gage Rauhut, Grace Rauhut, Genna Rauhut, Tyler Schneider (Alexa), Justin Schneider (Michelle), Heather Hunter (Adam), Phillip Sallay (Nicole), Robert Soucie Jr., Brittany Soucie and Great-Grandmother to Greyson Schneider and Madelyn Sallay. Joyce was preceded in death by her loving son Kevin Regnier.

Joyce was a retired and dedicated 911 Dispatcher for Matteson, Illinois for many years. Joyce and her husband Roger enjoyed traveling and spending time with their family. Joyce was an avid quilter and won many ribbons and awards for her work. She loved going to the casino and playing cards.

Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 to 7:00 on Friday October 27, 2023 and Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. on Saturday October 28, 2023 at Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home located at 3227 Ridge Road Lansing, IL 60438, Pastor Don Borling officiating. Joyce will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Lansing Illinois. Joyce was loved by many and she will be truly missed.
