Joyce A. Jansma, age 83 of Lynwood, IL, went home to her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 13, 2023. She is survived by her three children: Lori (James) Clark, Tim (Pam) Jansma, and Sue (Craig) Schoon; grandchildren: Peter Clark, Andrew (Lauren nee Mosley) Clark, Stephanie Jansma, Martin (Marissa nee Lang) Jansma, Seth Schoon, Holly (fiancee' Cameron Zandstra) Schoon, and Corey Schoon. and her great grandchild: Caris Clark. Also surviving are her siblings: Harold and Theone Hoeksema, Henry Hoeksema, John and Judy Hoeksema, and sister-in-law, Sylvia Hoeksema.

Joyce was preceded to Heaven in March 2020 by her beloved husband of nearly 59 years: Peter R. Jansma; sister and brother-in-law: Beatrice and John Presley, brother: Carl Hoeksema, and sister-in-law: Joyce Hoeksema.

Friends are invited to visit with Joyce's family on Monday, December 18 from 3:00 – 8:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 19 at 10:00 AM at the First Church PCA on the corner of Ridge Rd and Burnham Ave in Lansing, IL. Joyce will be laid to rest in Skyline Memorial Park in Monee, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Joyce's name to Illiana Christian High School.

Joyce was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and will be missed.
