Joseph Dienes, age 94 of Calumet City, IL, formerly of Chicago, Burnside, Helvetia, PA, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022. He is survived by his son: Joseph (Robin) Dienes; daughter Joyce Dienes: sister-in-law Joanne Dienes and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Dienes was preceded in death by his beloved wife Betty, his parents, and many brothers and sisters. Joseph served in the Army during the Korean War and was stationed in Germany. He was a self-made man with many interests and hobbies including music, woodworking, and gardening. He even taught himself to paint via Bob Ross. Always willing to lend a hand to those in need.

Friends are invited to visit with Joseph's family on Thursday, June 23, 2022 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, Il. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM with Father Hector Trevino officiating. Cremation to Follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or American Cancer Society. Joseph was loved by many and he will truly missed.
