John Francis Marovich, age 75, of Lansing, IL, passed away on November 10, 2024. Survived by loving companion Nancy Wilcox; devoted children John Marovich, Jr. and Jackie (Charles) Petersen; cherished grandchildren Charles (Chaz), Colleen and Collin Petersen, Frankie and Molly Marovich; brother David Marovich; brother in law Glen (Amy) Madsen; sister in law Nancy Burnson; nieces Laurie (Joe), Cherie and Michelle (Nathan); nephews Eric (Melissa), Ryan and Jeff; other great nieces/nephews; care givers; neighbors; and adored fur babies Ashley, Julia, Misty and Lucy. Preceded in death by wife Janice Marie Marovich (Madsen); parents John and Amelia (Molly) Marovich (Racich); brother Dennis (Denny) Marovich.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 1:00p.m. at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. Friends are invited to visit with the family Saturday from 12:00p.m - 1:00p.m. at the funeral home.

John was a proud retired Local 597 Pipefitter. He was dedicated to his craftsmanship and sharing the knowledge with others. Many know John for his witty humor, his giving nature, his strong will, his passionate convictions, his loving soul and his tender adoration of animals. His love and friendship will forever reside in our hearts. He will be missed.
