John F. Domansky Sr., age 92 of Lansing, IL, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2025. John is survived by his son: John F. (Julie) Domansky Jr. and daughter: Linnae Colson; grandchildren: Ian Domansky, Melissa Colson, Kourtney Oswalt, Tanner Colson, and Jagger Colson; and great grandson: Liam Brittain. John was preceded in death by his beloved wife: Karen; two sisters: Frances and Anne; and parents: John and Agnes Domansky.

John had worked at LTV Steel Corp as a millwright. He was a Cubs fan, loved music, dancing, fishing, antiques, auctions, and old cars.

John's family would like to thank the Lansing Police Dept. for their kindness and care of their father.

There will be no public service in Lansing, but go out and enjoy the music John enjoyed around town and at Fox Point.
