Joan Manns - Lawrence, age 64 of Steger, Illinois passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021. She is survived by her loving husband Phil Lawrence, her wonderful son Christopher, and her sister Cindy Bogue and nephew Paul Bogue.

A Celebration Of Life will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 5:00 PM at the Schroeder – Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, Illinois with Deacon Jim Renwick officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 PM until time of service. Cremation to follow.

Joan loved animals, especially dogs. Most times Joan had at least 2 dogs at any given moment. She loved playing Trivia with anyone who would play. She was a Mensa member and held a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Human Resource. Joan was an outgoing friendly person whom everyone who met her loved her. She had a keen wit and cared about everyone. Joan loved traveling and spent a lot of time with her son fishing. She and her husband Phil were meant to be together. Their time was cut short but they are still joined in their hearts. Joan was loved by many and will be truly missed. www.schroederlauer.com
