Joan Eleanore Douma (nee Pittelkow), age 91 of Lansing, IL, formerly of Lynwood, IL, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Reich and daughter, JoEllen Reich; grandchildren: Jim Gertzen, Kenneth Reich Jr, and Michael Reich; her sister: Wilma Westlund, and numerous nieces and nephews. Joan was preceded in death by her first husband, John Walter Reich who passed away in 2001, and second husband, Ralph Douma Jr. who passed away in 2014.

Friends are invited to visit with Joan's family on Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St John Lutheran Church, 18100 Wentworth Ave., Lansing, IL. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM in the church sanctuary with Pastor John Richy officiating. Joan will be laid to rest in Oak Glen Lutheran Cemetery in Lansing.

Joan was a member of St John Lutheran Church and was a member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League. She had worked as a secretary for St. John Lutheran Church.
