Jennifer (nee Hughes) Saia, 71, of Lansing, Illinois, formerly of Crystal Lake, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2023. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Saia, and her children, Elizabeth (Paul) Rotatori, and Peter (Jessica) Saia. Also her grandchildren, Anthony Rotatori, Peter Rotatori, Joseph Saia, Robin Rotatori, Vincent Saia. She was preceded in death by parents Stuart and Alice Hughes, and her brother-in-law Wayne (Megan Hughes) Skidmore.

Jennifer was a seamstress, violinist, and  music teacher in Lansing, IL for many years. She was a member of the Lansing Historical Society, and shared her many talents in service to her community through volunteerism and as a neighborly helping hand. She lived her life with integrity, creativity and fearlessly threw her heart into all her endeavors, which is remarkable.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, February 16, 2023, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, Illinois. Funeral services for Jennifer will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023 at 10:00 AM at the funeral Home with Deacon Jim Renwick officiating. Jennifer will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery, Hammond, Indiana. Jennifer was loved by many and she will be truly missed.
